I am a mother of two and 6 months pregnant. I got up enough nerve to have my husband arrested last week for domestic violence. Now I am stuck with no money and my rent is due. I have less than 200.00 and panicking. I have gone to job and family services and applied for help. They have given me food stamps and I start a work assignment next week. They are going to give me 410.00 a month, but the first check could take up to 3 weeks to get. Once I start my work assignment, I can look for regular paying employment, but I need help to make sure my rent is paid this month. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.
